The Apex on Preston Apartments will offer 312 units and is the first of its kind in the area to offer high-end living with top-of-the-line interior finishes and communal amenities.

Upon finalizing closing processes and construction on the $30 million project, it is expected to break ground in June 2014.

With the Apex on Preston Apartments, Cityscape Residential is bringing its history of developing award-winning luxury multifamily rental communities to the Louisville, Ky. area. By incorporating design elements that reflect the architectural style of the local area, Cityscape Residential brings a unique and thoughtful design aesthetic to each of its communities. For this development, the firm aims to offer its signature combination of high-end finishes and distinct design that have made its previous developments like 82 Flats at the Crossing in Indianapolis and The Residences at Prairiefire, part of the highly anticipated Prairiefire master-planned development in Overland Park, Kan., so attractive to renters.

“Apex on Preston Apartments will be one of the premier apartment communities in the entire area,” said Kelli Lawrence, partner of Cityscape Residential. “This area is a major economic engine for the Louisville region with close proximity to UPS Worldport, GE Appliance Park, Ford, Fort Knox and major employers in Bullitt County, not to mention walking distance to Commerce Crossings Business Park. Apex will provide a location where people can live, work and play being close to those employers, as well as the expanding adjacent retail areas.”

Residents will enjoy one, two or three bedroom units with interior finishes such as stainless steel and black appliances, washers and dryers in each unit, designer lighting and plumbing fixtures, wine refrigeration storage, spa garden tubs, granite vanities, wood-like flooring, multi-tone carpet and crown molding. Shared community amenities include a resort-style pool with a grilling cabana, commercial quality fitness center with state-of-the-art cardio and weight equipment, business center, game room and resident lounge, and professional management.

To fulfill the needs of its fast-growing business, Cityscape Residential recently hired a new project manager and moved into a larger office space. Construction project management veteran Robert McBride will supervise projects throughout Indianapolis and Louisville, Ky. The firm is now leasing 3,700 square feet of office space on the north side of Indianapolis near Keystone at the Crossing.
