Job Scope
• Work closely with and assist Project Manager, Superintendent and other members on jobsite as required
• Work with Project Manager to prepare scope of work instructions, technical requirements, and bid packages for subcontractor and vendor items
• Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes, such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, assist with subcontractor and vendor selection
• Analyze blue prints, specifications, and other documents as well as assist in documenting changes and maintaining project record drawings and specifications
• Working knowledge of the contract documents to include reviewing all drawings and specifications for design inconsistencies and conflicts
• Process RFIs, Submittals and distribute to appropriate subcontractors
• Obtain and check subcontractor’s pricing and assist in assembling change quotations as directed by the Project Manager
• Manage and review inventory, head counts and inspections as needed and resolve necessary problems
• Attend weekly draw, subcontractor and owner meetings, take minutes and distribute to team
• Maintain all jobsite binders and manuals as required
• Assist in maintaining the project files, closeout and storage of documents at completion as well as execute cancellations of utilities, box files for movement to corporate office and move necessary items to next job
• Manage safety manuals, ASI, Submittals, Inspections and Insurance binders,
• Prepare and submit reports, schedules, logs, delivery tickets, timesheets, and expense reports for the jobsite to appropriate corporate personnel

Ideal Candidate
• Degree in Construction Management preferred but a combination of education and work experience will be considered. College graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Work well in a field construction environment
• Ability to coordinate workflows and cultivate strong relationships with all employees, subcontractors and vendors
• Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Work well in a team environment and able to take direction from site manager
• Ability to read and understand project specifications and drawings
• Understand and perform project scheduling and cost control
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
