Indianapolis-based Cityscape Residential LLC is moving forward with plans for a $40 million apartment complex in Louisville. The company says the 300-unit Axis Apartments will be built on the former site of a rail car processing facility. It will be the company’s second development in the Louisville area.

The company was launched last year. It includes executives who have led large-scale developments in central Indiana and Kansas.
